How to Deal Poker: How to Maintain Your Bank (2 of 2)
In this video, you learn how to maintain and organize a poker bank like you would learn in a poker dealer school. This is part 2 of 2. Below are the concepts discussed in the video.
This focuses on how to fix a very messy dealer bank.
Occasionally, it is ok to use missed blind buttons and other buttons in your tray to space off your chips if you have run out of spacers.
A great approach to fixing a messy bank is to gather all of your clear spacers and put them in the palm of your less efficient hand.
The middle-left tube should have the largest denomination chips. A short stack of $500 chips would be spaced in increments of 4 chips. To separate denominations in the same tube, use two spacers.
Short stacks of black chips are spaced off in 5's.
The next largest denomination chips go in the center tube on the right. and so on until you are organized.
Short stacks of green chips is done in 4's.
Make sure not to line up the patterns on the chips in the tubes. That makes them more difficult to count for surveillance.
